Senior Health Safety Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the site health, safety and wellbeing (HSW) improvement plan. They will partner with hospital executive teams, managers, supervisors, and the health and safety committee to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a robust HSW management system that ensures compliance with regulatory frameworks and accreditation requirements.
- Provide technical advice and support to ensure the effective implementation of the HSW strategy and management system.
- Drive safe systems of work by conducting quality incident investigations and delivering visible leadership through education, coaching, and monitoring programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of health, safety, and wellbeing practices and regulations. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to coach and influence others to implement and embed the HSW management system and programs.
