About the Role
The BMS Technician will be responsible for managing and maintaining building management systems. This involves undertaking works to maintain programming and hardware, monitoring the system, making recommendations for upgrade and supervising project work.

**Job Requirements**:

- High level of technical competency in building management systems, HVAC, access control, CCTV and security access systems, demonstrated by at least 5 years experience in the field.

- A solid understanding of air conditioning principles and systems and ability to provide a consistently high level of maintenance across all facets of fixed plant and equipment.

- Experience coordinating mechanical equipment installation, refurbishment or commissioning and working as part of a team to ensure integration of building management systems in major construction projects.

- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation, with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring that customer needs are always a priority.

- Problem solving and analytical fault-finding ability with at least one year of experience operating in this field.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Possession of a General Construction Induction Card (White Card).

- Queensland Restricted Electrical Work Licence (Instrumentation and Process Control) or the ability to obtain same.

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases.
