Technical Support Analyst

The Technical Support Analyst is a key role in providing technical assistance to ensure smooth operations of our restaurants and support office staff.

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to resolve issues and queries logged in the helpdesk ticketing system
  • Monitor the helpdesk system daily to ensure that all incidents and/or requests are assigned, closed, or being addressed
  • Manage, prioritize, and address all incoming helpdesk incidents and requests
  • Escalate any required helpdesk tickets to the relevant escalation contacts where and when necessary
  • Deliver regular helpdesk weekly reporting to the IT Manager and the rest of the IT team
Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an individual who can work effectively with colleagues, communicate complex technical information, and be proactive in identifying solutions to technical problems.

  • Assist in the maintenance of the IT checklist, ensuring the smooth operation of infrastructure backups, exports, and data synchronization, restaurant, and support office internet and network
  • Support restaurant staff with software, hardware, and network issues including POS software and hardware, the POS online portal, Windows, Office desktop apps, Office 365 cloud software, laptops, desktops, peripherals, anti-virus, remote software, internet, network, modem, router, switches, 4G dongles, NBN, and more
  • Support support office staff with software, hardware, and network issues including POS software and hardware, the POS online portal, Windows and MAC, Office desktop apps, Office 365 cloud software, peripherals, anti-virus, remote software, internet, VOIP, meeting room conferencing and display equipment, and more
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong people skills with ability to work effectively with colleagues
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new ideas and technologies
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy/Intune, Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems, Office 365, PowerApps, SharePoint Online, Atlassian Jira Service Desk, TeamViewer, or similar tools
