Family Support Specialist

The role of a Child Protection Caseworker is to provide support and assistance to families in need, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people.
This position involves working collaboratively with parents, family members, children or young people, as well as other agencies and professionals, to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
Caseworkers will work with high-needs clients and their families, managing cases and situations that require sensitivity, respect, and compassion.
In addition to providing direct support, caseworkers may also be involved in court processes, including the preparation of documents and attending court hearings.
Professional development opportunities are available through individual and group supervision, enabling caseworkers to refine their skills and stay up-to-date with best practices.
Key qualifications for this role include a degree in social work, social science, or welfare, along with relevant practical experience and strong communication skills.
