Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert commercial law advice on business transactions, contract drafting, negotiation, and tender submissions.
  • Oversee the Group's Privacy Compliance Programme and act as the Data Protection Officer.
  • Advise on trade practices (Competition and Consumer) law issues and identify legal risks in relation to claims, contracts, and operations.
  • Develop internal governance policies, risk frameworks, and compliance guidelines where required.
  • Liaise with external advisors and stakeholders as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor in Australia for unrestricted practice.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience as in-house counsel, preferably in a multinational setting.
  • General Commercial, Privacy, Competition, and Consumer law expertise.
