The Director, Office of the Commissioner and Associate Commissioner plays a pivotal role in providing strategic administration advice to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-level strategic, policy, and operational advice to the Commissioner and Associate Commissioner
- Manage daily operations and staffing of the Office, ensuring professionalism, confidentiality, and responsiveness
- Lead and mentor staff to ensure performance excellence and alignment with Commission values and priorities
- Design branch workflow and implement business improvement activities for effective office operation
- Anticipate and manage emerging issues and risks to Commissioner and Associate Commissioner's priorities
- Draft briefs on complex matters and coordinate requests for information
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to drive shared outcomes
- Oversee stakeholder engagement activities, including liaison with Minister's Office
- Lead strategic projects as directed by Commissioner and Associate Commissioner
- Strategic thinking and executive administration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and mentor staff
