We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Supply Chain Specialist to join our organization.
This role is responsible for assisting with the management of supplies, focusing on operating theatres with involvement in wards and other areas within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service by replenishing imprest areas
- Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members, and liaising with other staff as required
- Demonstrate professional practice by working according to organizational policies and procedures, code of conduct
- Maintain standards of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times
- Supports our safety and quality improvement initiatives and achievement of accreditation by actively participating in department meetings, audits, and quality activities
- Ensure compliance with and participation in National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards
- Experience with computerized purchasing systems
- Ability to work efficiently within allocated resources
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proven time management and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Previous experience in a similar role (desired) Warehousing, Inventory background will be considered
- Medical product knowledge (desired)
