Role Overview

The Senior Energy Engineer will contribute to the development of Distributed Energy Resource (DER) solutions and renewable energy projects. This role requires expertise in network connection, regulatory, and operational requirements for DER.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent our company in national working groups focused on standardising DER communications protocols.
  • Develop internal standards and procedures to ensure the effective, safe, and scalable management of aggregated DER fleets.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on DER connection processes, technical rules, and market regulations to support the implementation of DER aggregation services.
  • Provide specialist engineering advice across the DER and renewable asset lifecycle to inform strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Collaborate with industry partners and internal cross-functional teams to enable the seamless integration of DER into the electricity network.
