Job Title: Aerospace Logistics Operations Director

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per annum

We are dnata catering, a leading provider of inflight catering and retail services to the aviation industry. Our Melbourne facility is one of our 16 global locations, employing over 500 team members and producing over 6 million meals annually.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Logistics Operations Director to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our Unit, managing daily activities, and overseeing service delivery to our clients.

  • Coordinate and supervise the team to provide exceptional service to our international and domestic clients;
  • Oversee all operational and service delivery activities to ensure flights are serviced according to our standards;
  • Manage ongoing operational costs and develop strategies to reduce expenses;
  • Support business growth through the development and implementation of systems and procedures;
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated success in a similar role with proven supervisory and leadership experience;
  • Substantial exposure to airline catering operations processes, preferred but not essential;
  • Excellent leadership agility, diplomacy, and problem-solving skills;
  • Flexibility to work on the floor and in the office as required;
  • High energy and results-driven with the ability to work across teams;
  • Good understanding of Food Safety, WHS, and quality assurance principles;
