Senior Cybersecurity and Risk Management Leader

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity and Risk Management Leader to oversee our cybersecurity initiatives and assurance activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience in managing risk and security programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies, conducting risk assessments, and managing incident response efforts. They will also oversee the development and implementation of cybersecurity initiatives and assurance activities, ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and regulations.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, working closely with stakeholders to protect our information assets and ensure business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage incident response efforts
  • Oversee the development and implementation of cybersecurity initiatives and assurance activities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership position. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in Microsoft security tools, cloud technologies, firewalls, and intrusion detection tools and systems.

Desirable Qualifications:

Cybersecurity management experience within a government or large organization, and relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.

  • Employee Health Declaration
  • Six months probationary period for new engagements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance
