About the Role

The Cybersecurity Lead has overall responsibility for managing information security and technology risk management for Australia and New Zealand.

This role involves leading the implementation and enforcement of information security governance, including policies, standards, and procedures. Collaboration with various teams such as IT, Digital, HR, Legal, Finance, Zone, and Global Security is crucial.

A key part of this role is developing and executing IT security education plans to raise awareness about IT security risks and best practices. Ensuring excellence in Information Security Operations and service level agreements in response to IT security issues is also essential.

Performing Risk Analysis of local projects using L'Oréal's Risk Management methodology and putting regular Governance Committees in place with Business Teams are additional responsibilities.

The Cybersecurity Lead will manage day-to-day execution of local cybersecurity projects and communicate key cybersecurity indicators to zone/platform management, escalating as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with multiple teams to implement information security governance
  2. Develop IT security education plans
  3. Ensure Information Security Operations excellence
  4. Perform Risk Analysis of local projects
  5. Manage local cybersecurity projects
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong combined experience in IT, with at least some experience in Information Security
  • Familiarity with Australia and New Zealand Cybersecurity & Privacy regulations (a plus)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • English working proficiency (oral, written)
  • Significant experience as a Project or Program Manager (valuable)
  • Exposure to ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001/2) (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security/Data Systems Management or related field (preferably)
  • Certifications like CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CISA, PMP, Agile, etc. (ideal)
