IT Security Analyst Role

We are seeking a seasoned IT security professional to play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of risks across our organisation. As a key member of the Information Management and Technology Division, you will contribute significantly to the development of robust risk management practices.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in utilising and enhancing cyber security related technologies, including SIEM, endpoint protection, intrusion protection, and identity management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cyber threat intelligence, technical advisory, security maintenance, and incident response capability
  • Monitoring a security dashboard for SIEM alerts and undertaking remediation to manage security risks
  • Collating, analysing, and reporting cyber security information and threat intelligence to support risk identification and mitigation

Key Responsibilities Include Managing Risks And Ensuring Compliance With Leading Standards Including NIST, ASD ISM, ISO 27000 Through Ongoing Monitoring And Assessment To Identify Potential Threats And Recommending Solutions For Enhanced Cybersecurity Posture.

Required Skills And Qualifications Include Strong Stakeholder Engagement Skills, Experience Establishing Forensic Tests And Alerts That Indicate Potential Threats, And Extensive Knowledge Of Attack Tactics Techniques And Practices.
