About the Role

The Financial Systems Officer plays a vital role in supporting our vision by providing specialist financial systems support, database administration services and performing reporting or analysis activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external users to monitor, maintain, diagnose and troubleshoot system, database and reporting related matters.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving internal controls to ensure the integrity and availability of financial information.
  • Participate in financial system projects, business process reviews and assist in other finance and budgetary matters as directed.
Qualifications
  • Essential: Nil
  • Desirable: An appropriate degree or diploma with significant computing content and/or relevant industry experience; An appropriate degree or diploma in Accountancy or related field.

To succeed in this role, you will be required to obtain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to being employed, which must be renewed every five years before expiry. Additionally, you will be required to undertake RRHAN - EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, which must be updated every three years.
