Job Description:

The Senior Business Partner - Finance provides expert level support and advice to Executive Directors, senior officers across the department, for effective and efficient financial management of their portfolio.

The role leads a team of advisors and finance officers in delivering a specialist consultancy service. It ensures development, implementation and monitoring of budget and financial strategies reflect the department's critical needs in delivering high quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of advisors and finance officers in providing specialist financial consultancy services.
  • Ensure development, implementation and monitoring of budget and financial strategies.
  • Advise Executive Directors and senior staff on financial management and budget considerations.
  • Coordinate with internal processes and external reporting requirements.
Requirements:

Essential Qualifications: An appropriate tertiary qualification in accountancy, finance, business management or a relevant discipline.

Desirable Qualifications: Nil

Benefits:

ASO8 $121,107 - $125,679 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
