
Child Development Specialist

As an Occupational Therapist Key Worker, you will be instrumental in achieving this vision by delivering tailored supports in partnership with families. You will leverage evidence-informed best practices, assessments, observations, and your profound understanding of child development to create bespoke support options that cater to each child and family's distinct needs.
You will play a pivotal role in empowering families, caregivers, and professionals by teaching them essential skills and instilling confidence to support children in their everyday lives using your expert coaching abilities. By fostering connections between children and families with their community, you will ensure they are included and can participate in settings and activities that bring them joy.
In addition to these critical responsibilities, you will maintain thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals within our NDIA business system. Furthermore, you will guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans, providing invaluable support during a transformative period in their lives.
Responsibilities:- Deliver supports, in collaboration with families, to help them achieve their objectives, utilising evidence-based best practice.
- Utilise assessments, observations, and your extensive knowledge of child development to tailor support options that suit each child and family.
- Empower families, caregivers, and professionals, teaching them valuable skills and instilling confidence to support children in their daily lives using your expert coaching skills.
