Speech Pathologist Position

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals dedicated to helping children and families achieve their goals.


The Role
  • Deliver supports to help families achieve their goals through assessments, observations, and understanding of child development.
  • Use coaching skills to empower families, caregivers, and professionals, helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives.
  • Connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose.
  • Keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals in the NDIS business system.
  • Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree qualification in Speech Pathology.
  • Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
  • Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including implementation of effective strategies for families to practice at home and other settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
