Alzheimer's Ecosystem Manager Opportunity
">Lilly has invested over three decades in scientific innovation and clinical research to find solutions for Alzheimer's disease. However, our healthcare ecosystem is not yet ready to deliver innovative medical solutions to patients.
">You will be the interface between our key customers in the Alzheimer's therapeutic area and all relevant functions and management. Your primary purpose is to improve patient care, together with our customers, through innovative and creative approaches.
">The role demands a strong understanding of the Australian public and private hospital system, encompassing diagnostic and treatment facilities, and key decision-making bodies.
">- Create urgency: Engage customers, understand barriers/enablers to providing AD care, including identifying patients early in the disease cascade.
- Build confidence: Demonstrate an understanding of your customers' goals and tensions to motivate them to build an infrastructure and pathway that supports patients with AD.
- Reduce complexity: Deliver solutions that enable stakeholders to implement a clear plan that ensures every patient with early AD receives timely, coordinated care.
- Map and shape the ecosystem: Work with your customers to enable a clear, coordinated diagnostic and care pathway for early AD patients by:
- Identifying healthcare professionals and decision-makers involved in the patient pathway for early AD and mild cognitive impairment.
- Understanding service and system requirements in metropolitan and regional territories.
- MAPPING AND DOCUMENTING THE ECOSYSTEMS (KEY ACCOUNTS, THEIR DIAGNOSTIC ENVIRONMENT AND REFERRAL NETWORKS) FOR DIAGNOSIS, PATIENT CARE AND TREATMENT IN THE FIELD OF ALZHEIMER'S (FROM PATIENT IDENTIFICATION TO THERAPY MONITORING).
- Designing diagnostic algorithms, therapy pathways, and protocols for patient flow in key accounts.
- Connecting colleagues for shared learning and best practice implementation to speed Memory Clinic and optimal ecosystem builds.
- If there are shortages in key capacity (eg infusions), collaborating with stakeholders, potentially external providers, to develop local solutions and services.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
">- A deep understanding of the Australian public and private hospital system, encompassing diagnostic and treatment facilities, and key decision-making bodies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and external partners.
- The ability to think strategically and creatively, with a focus on improving patient care and outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
- A collaborative mindset, with experience working in cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people affected by Alzheimer's disease.
">We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
