Job Title: Behaviour Change Specialist in Exercise and Sport Psychology

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Change Specialist to join our team, contributing to teaching and research initiatives focused on exercise behaviour change and sport psychology. The successful candidate will have expertise in creating engaging content for Behaviour Change and Mental Health courses and Sports Psychology curricula within health professional programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality educational resources for Behaviour Change and Mental Health courses and Sports Psychology curricula within health professional programs.
  • Deliver lectures and tutorials across multiple programs, including exercise, physiotherapy, dietetics, and pharmacy, incorporating Behaviour Change/Mental Health into these areas and Sports Psychology into Exercise Physiology.
  • Conduct innovative research in addition to teaching responsibilities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A PhD in a related discipline (Exercise or Psychology/Behaviour Change) or substantial relevant clinical experience with teaching is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sub-disciplinary areas of exercise behaviour change, mental health, and health/sport psychology is necessary.
  • Experience in teaching and learning design, development, and delivery of courses and programs at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels is essential.
  • Familiarity with educational technologies and online delivery methods is preferred.
  • Sustained evidence of high-quality research outcomes and leadership in research is required.
