Medical Support Professional

The Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in our pharmacy team, working under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist to prepare medications and process prescriptions for patients and customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medication to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PBS legislative requirements impacting the pharmacy and dispensary operations.
- Provide exceptional patient care through effective communication, empathy, and specialized knowledge.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in dispensing medications is highly regarded.
- A Certificate II in Community Pharmacy or S2/S3 qualifications are considered an asset.
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork and collaboration skills to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Be flexible, responsive, and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment.
Mandatory Requirements
- Proof of immunization against infectious diseases.
- A national police check conducted within the last 12 months.
