Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Professional to join our global market data research firm in Sydney. As an HR generalist, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the Human Resources process, ensuring the business achieves its goals in relation to staffing, culture, and training.

About the Company

This is a global market data research firm in growth phase, based in Sydney CBD. This is a 3 or 4 day position with flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment of roles as required across the business
  • Maintain staff records, e.g. contracts, rem changes, quarterly/annual review in the HR system
  • Maintain and develop all policies that relate to HR, occupational, work health, and safety policies
  • Maintain and develop training programs for staff to ensure their skills are at best practice level for a quantitative-focused market research firm
  • Provide support to senior leadership team members in their day-to-day management of staff within their teams
  • Identify and assess future and current training needs, incorporating the impact of technology transformation on the skills required
  • Ensure the efficient management of staff onboarding
  • Design and enhance training collateral by identifying and designing material, including instructional templates for international teams developing a bespoke online learning resource library

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An HR or business-related qualification with at least 5 years' HR generalist experience
  • The ability to work autonomously in a stand-alone HR role while working closely with the executive team on all initiatives related to HR
  • An openness to assisting with some executive assistant (EA) support to executives when required
  • An interest with a focus on recruitment initially, as the business grows
