Midwife Leadership Opportunity

We invite experienced Clinical Midwives to manage and coordinate evidence-based midwifery care within a dynamic healthcare environment.

  • This is a Recruitment Pool for suitably qualified Clinical Midwives covering:
  • Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time, Fixed Term - Full Time, and Fixed Term - Part Time appointments with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and assess on a regular basis. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced, evidence-based midwifery care in alignment with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia Decision-Making Framework.
  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, consumer-focused maternity care.
  • Maintain a safe environment by overseeing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care practices.
  • Facilitate professional development and training opportunities for midwives and nursing staff to enhance their competencies.
