Opportunity to Lead Midwifery Care Team

WA Country Health Service seeks an experienced Clinical Midwife to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional consumer-focused maternity care. This pivotal role involves providing advanced, evidence-based midwifery care and operational management of the unit. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated clinical knowledge and experience in midwifery care, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced midwifery care in alignment with best practice guidelines.
  • Lead and support a team to deliver high-quality, woman-centred care.
  • Maintain a safe environment by overseeing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care practices.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their competencies.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency is essential.
