About the Role

The Assistant Finance Manager is a key position within Evolve FM, responsible for providing high-quality financial services and achieving operational efficiencies. This role is directly engaged in the operations of the business, accountable for enhancing the reputation and image of Evolve FM through exemplary customer interaction and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completion of internal and external month-end financial reporting processes for designated Evolve FM clients.
  • Assist with compiling budgets and preparing forecasts for designated Evolve FM clients.
  • Assist with Client Contract Management Fees Charging.
  • Providing quality input into Monthly / Quarterly operations reports for Clients.
  • Completion of Client Reporting such as Actual Vs Budget Variance with Commentary, Accruals etc.
  • Provide managerial support to Finance Administrators & AP/AR staff to complete their day-to-day tasks.
  • Assisting with periodical reporting when required.
  • Ensure adherence to prescribed quality standards and internal controls within the finance function across the Evolve FM business to manage risk for both clients and 'the firm.'
  • Continuous development of the Finance Function that provides improvements in the quality of financial information for clients while also enabling a reduction in process inefficiencies and cost.
  • Assist the Finance manager and Senior Finance Director as required (Audits etc) and provide coverage for the Finance Manager role at times.
About You

We are seeking a motivated self-starter with a proven track record of successfully delivering best practice and quality to the organisation, your team, and clients. You will thrive on building relationships and providing service excellence.

Proactive with a keen eye for detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities, while possessing a can-do attitude, our ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in an Accounting or related discipline.
  • Formal qualifications or progress towards completing qualifications related to finance would be highly regarded (CA or CPA).
  • Good interpersonal skills to manage diverse range of Client representatives and Evolve FM stakeholders.
  • Sound written and oral communication skills, and the capacity to deal with ambiguity & complex problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex deliverables on a daily basis.
  • Able to think strategically, innovatively, and solve problems.
  • Very good Excel skills, analytical and reporting skills (including commentary).

Ideally, the successful candidate will also possess:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in an Accounting or related discipline.
  • Formal qualifications or completing qualifications related to finance would be highly regarded (CA or CPA).
