Job Summary

A career opportunity exists for a seasoned project coordinator to manage and control the contract master schedule, including the work breakdown structure, and monitor variances against the approved project baseline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Management: Manage and control the Contract Master Schedule (CMS), including the Work Breakdown Structure, and monitor all variances against the approved project baseline.
  • Collaboration: Gather inputs from product leads and technical teams to capture and analyse inter-dependencies, scope, risks, constraints, and milestones in relation to the CMS.
  • Issue Identification and Resolution: Proactively identify scheduling issues and implement mitigation strategies to support project objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse project status data to support management meetings and contribute to monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.
  • Performance Metrics: Generate and assess schedule performance metrics, variance reports, and status updates; assist with program resource planning and forecasting in collaboration with Program Management and team leads.
About You
  • Experience: Experienced Scheduler with a strong ability to engage and collaborate across complex stakeholder environments.
  • Background: Desirable background in large, complex, defence-related projects.
  • Skills: Proficient in using MS Project for schedule development and management.
  • Expertise: Skilled in creating schedules, setting and tracking baselines, and conducting updates and replanning activities.
  • Certifications: Brings solid technical expertise to support project delivery in complex environments.

This role requires an Australian Citizen and holds a Baseline level security clearance.
