Job Title: Hotel All-Rounder Part Time

Job Summary:

Mercure Newcastle is seeking a Part Time Hotel All-Rounder to join their team. As a key member of the hotel staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Work in various departments, including Food & Beverage and Front Desk, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Complete a range of tasks, from selling hotel facilities to taking reservations, to maintain a high level of service.
  • Ensure guests are aware of the hotel's facilities and services, and provide them with a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve excellent service standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Opera.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and think on your feet to resolve issues.
  • Strong communication skills and pride in personal presentation.
  • Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) or willingness to obtain one before starting.
