Vocational Education and Training Manager

This role requires a strategic thinker and strong communicator with the capability to build and maintain partnerships across government, community, education providers, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing regional team delivering vocational education and training (VET) services, funded programs, and employment initiatives.
  • Evaluate and improve training access and outcomes in your region.
  • Manage competing priorities and make decisions autonomously.
  • Develop and implement practical solutions to complex problems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership and people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the VET system, Apprenticeships & Traineeships, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex problems and develop evidence-based solutions.
