About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Specialist to join our Fusion Control Room team at Macquarie. As an Oracle Fusion support and development specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and monitoring the Control M job scheduling system to ensure timely execution of scheduled jobs.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues, providing technical support and guidance to end-users, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define job scheduling requirements. Additionally, you will develop and maintain basic scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor the Control M job scheduling system to ensure timely execution of scheduled jobs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to job scheduling and automation
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define job scheduling requirements
  • Develop and maintain basic scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • Experience working with Control M job scheduling system in a production environment
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously
