Job Summary

This role involves operating in a coordinated team environment to undertake product and steam system maintenance, audits, quality testing, and water treatment service. The primary objective is to achieve predetermined targets and key performance indicators.

">About the Position:

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of steam systems. This includes conducting regular audits, performing repair and overhaul work, and providing warranty and sales support as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough Steam System Audits through report generation and quotation closure.
  • Cary out chargeable product repair and overhaul services.
  • Provide free-of-charge Warranty and Sales Support work as directed.
  • Participate in commissioning products and ensure smooth handovers.
  • Follow up on quotations and secure orders for repairs quoted from audits.
  • Carry out steam quality testing and generate technical reports.
  • Oversee Service Reports, Job Sheets, and overtime requests.
  • Supervise contractors during installations.
  • Perform Assembly work on related products and packages.
  • Update customer databases using CRM systems.
  • Be available to work on call on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Provide written sales leads or customer feedback.
  • Be willing to travel and stay overnight as required.
  • Conduct JSA's (SWM's) for any service work.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade, fitter machinist trade, plumbing or electrical trade.
  • Basic to Intermediate MS Office package skills.
  • Current valid Driver's licence.
  • Able to pass pre-employment medical checks.
  • Must pass Police Check for service access into hospitals / secure areas.
