Job Title: Research Support Professional

This is a key role in supporting the research activities of academic staff.


About the Role

The Research Support Professional provides high-level service to support the research activities of academic staff, including grant submissions and administration.

This position ensures smooth transition from identification and application approval through to research grant completion.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre- and post-award support for faculty staff on external grants
  • Provide administrative support for internal research funding schemes and data maintenance
  • Ensure responsive analysis and reporting on agreed research metrics
  • Advise academic staff on research funding opportunities and best practices

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification with experience or equivalent competence
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, process-driven environment with strong time management skills
  • Proven customer service and support skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
