Workers Compensation and Injury Management Lead

At Alstom, we understand the importance of ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees. As a key member of our EHS & Rail Safety Division, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective workers compensation and injury management strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers compensation and injury management, with experience in manufacturing environments and heavy industries. You will be responsible for reviewing and updating our WC & IM processes, working collaboratively with HR, Payroll, and other stakeholders to support early intervention strategies and implement best injury management practices.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing current WC claims status and contributing to strategies for management to closure.
  • Developing and implementing the reporting dashboard and analytics as a baseline for process improvement.
  • Collaborating with Human Resources, Return to Work Coordinators, Industrial Relations Manager, Legal Department, and Alstom's third-party Workers Compensation partners to support early intervention strategies and implement best injury management practices.

Qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Previous experience defining and supporting workers compensation, injury management, and return to work plans and strategies in manufacturing environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of legislation and Insurance Management.
  • Well-established stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience supporting Training deployment plans.
  • Previous experience with Elumina system or equivalent.
