Job Description:

As a payroll administrator, you will provide support to the wider business and ensure the efficient running of the payroll function.

The successful candidate will work in a fully remote payroll position, providing a comprehensive and professional service in delivery of fortnightly payroll.

You will work closely with acquired practices to gain an understanding of their current payroll processes and penalty structures.

Additionally, you will work closely with the payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll data and reports.

Key responsibilities include testing of payroll award - build compliance and governance controls, processing fortnightly and ad hoc payrolls for a growing workforce, including new joiners, adjustments, leave tracking, processing, and reporting.

Other payroll-related tasks may be required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous payroll experience in an end-to-end role is essential.
  • Extensive experience of managing data through the use of MS Excel and queries through Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of Australia payroll across all states.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to support all stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritise and work to set timescales.
  • Problem-solving & advising employees on queries in a professional manner.
  • High degree of discretion and confidentiality.
