Transaction Expansion Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Transaction Expansion Manager to join our business development team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing all aspects of transaction deal flow related to data center procurement projects in the Asia Pacific region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Data Center Expansion Support: Provide comprehensive support for data center expansion activities, including data analysis, budget approval processes, and document administration from deal inception to closure.
  • Infrastructure Transactions: Manage infrastructure transactions by validating internal stakeholder inputs, engaging with vendors, preparing business cases for leadership approval, and driving contract execution with Legal partners.
  • New Data Center Site Development: Assist with site selection process, strategy development, financial analysis, and approval process for new AWS data center sites.
  • Supply Chain Management: Provide support and analysis on supply plans, strategy documents, account reviews, research requests, and stakeholder management.
  • Contract Administration: Support the development of Master Service Agreements, Master Work Orders, Service Orders, and contract amendments.
  • Internal Stakeholder Communication: Manage internal stakeholder communication and provide status updates on contract executions.
  • Cross-Organizational Collaboration: Represent the team in project meetings and work cross-organizationally to address project issues.
  • Operating Expense Management: Manage infrastructure operating expenses, including obtaining internal financial approvals, budget planning with finance, working with vendors, payment and accounting teams to address any account escalation issues, and controlling cash disbursements.
  • Process Improvement: Establish and oversee the implementation of continual process improvement initiatives related to operational efficiency, team effectiveness, and new value-added activities.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Closely collaborate with Amazon operations, legal, finance, treasury, tax, design engineering, and risk management to help deliver highly successful projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
