Responsibilities will include:

- Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies as per the positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community.
- Ensuring individual plans reflect participants' goals, passions, and strengths.
- Building the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.
What's in it for you?
- Flexibility – Hybrid working model, combining the convenience of working from home with the social interaction of working in the community.
- Excellent remuneration – Generous base salary + car allowance + laptop + phone + CPD + bonuses + Reward and Recognition Program.
- Salary packaging – Includes novated leasing and self-education expenses.
- Career progression – Access to ongoing training tailored to your interests and long-term goals, combined with professional development opportunities with Ability Action Australia and our parent company MedHealth.
- Passionate and uplifting culture – You will be part of a purpose and values-driven team focused on delivering outstanding supports to participants.
- Current suitability at Core, Proficient or Advanced level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- Considerable experience providing support to people with behaviours of concern (professionally and/or personally) is essential.
- Completed a degree-level qualification as an allied health professional is desired.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
