Key Database Developer Role

About the Position:

We seek an accomplished and innovative Database Developer to collaborate with our dedicated team. As a valued member, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions that drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and creating data models, schemas, and database objects to enhance system performance.
  • Participating in SDLC phases, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment of PL/SQL code, stored procedures, triggers, and packages.
  • Optimizing database performance through SQL script tuning, indexing, and data structure improvements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate databases with various systems and applications.
  • Maintaining data integrity and smooth information flow between systems.
  • Identifying and resolving complex database issues, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation for database designs, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a Developer with a strong record of successful database projects.
  • Experience with Oracle Retail.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and database design principles.
  • Expertise in Oracle database and DB2 technologies.
  • Experience with Oracle APEX.
  • Familiarity with DevOps for Database Deployment (CI/CD for Automated Deployment of Database Scripts).
  • Knowledge of Order Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with Workato, Kafka, and Automic is a plus.
