Database Specialist Role

The Position Overview

As a key member of our database management team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining corporate software solutions, providing training and testing support, and ensuring data security and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement SSIS, SSRS, and PowerBi solutions to drive business unit objectives forward
  • Develop and maintain Powershell scripts to streamline database operations
  • Perform data cleansing to optimize logical design for efficient data model translation

You will also produce detailed database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and metadata definitions to ensure data consistency and accessibility.

About the Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in a similar database analysis and support role is essential
  • Strong technical skills in SQL Databases, Querying, Stored Procedures, Backup, Restore, and PowerShell scripting are required
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and liaise with external vendors
