Senior Database Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Database Specialist. This role demands a wealth of experience in database technologies and a robust understanding of business processes.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be integral to the development and optimisation of solutions that streamline and elevate operational processes. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing database solutions, participating in SDLC phases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Designing and implementing database solutions, including creating data models, schemas, and database objects.
  • Participating in requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment of database code.
  • Optimizing database performance through SQL script tuning, indexing, and data structure improvements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate databases with various systems and applications.
  • Ensuring data integrity and smooth information flow between systems.
  • Identify and resolve complex database issues, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies.
What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced developer with a strong record of successful database projects. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a Developer with a strong record of successful database projects.
  • Experience with database design principles, PL/SQL, and SQL.
  • Expertise in Oracle database and DB2 technologies.
  • Experience with DevOps for Database Deployment (CI/CD for Automated Deployment of Database Scripts).
  • Familiarity with database management systems.
