Credit Underwriter Role

This position involves evaluating residential mortgage credit submissions to determine suitability of security and Loan to Valuation ratios.

  • Analyzing loan proposals to ensure they meet Bank's policies and legislative guidelines
  • Exercising commercial acumen to make informed decisions
  • BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS with internal and external customers
  • Providing training and coaching to staff members
  • Ensuring timely and efficient processing of all credit related applications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, be able to manage multiple tasks effectively, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Evaluating residential loan proposals and making decisions
  2. Ensuring regulatory compliance and commercial acumen
  3. BUILDING AND MAINTAINING strong customer relationships
  4. Providing training and development opportunities
  5. Processing and maintaining accurate credit-related records
