About the Role

We are seeking a Catering Assistant who will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and delivering exceptional dining services to our residents.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation and delivering a quality dining experience
  • Supporting colleagues and maintaining a collaborative team environment
  • Working safely to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents, adhering to all policies and procedures

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to seniors
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential
  • A good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with diverse individuals
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain
