Key Account Manager

The role of Key Account Manager is to build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.

In this key position, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of existing clients, monitoring service delivery, and actively seeking new opportunities.

You will serve as the lead point of contact for technical delivery and commercial matters specific to your clients, working closely with internal teams to identify and grow business opportunities.

Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively network, represent the company confidently, and negotiate contracts to maximize profits.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and take on a challenging role that requires strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple accounts/projects, and general technical literacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned client account management matters.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and grow business opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Promptly submit visit reports and perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the maritime industry (e.g., ex-captain, marine engineer, ex-Navy).
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or a customer-focused technical/commercial role.
  • Strong ability to network, communicate, and represent the company confidently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, approachable, sociable, and able to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • General technical literacy (e.g., IT infrastructure, surveillance, or port systems).
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and MS Office (Excel in particular).
