The Australian Government Department of Defence is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Avionics Systems Technical Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness and mission readiness of the Royal Australian Navy's MH-60R Seahawk Romeo helicopter fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex technical assessments and associated tasks, engaging with stakeholders to deliver and exercise appropriate technical delegations.
- Provide technical knowledge and advice in relation to complex work or difficult issues.
- Contribute to strategic planning, program and project management.
You will join a diverse team made up of APS, ADF, US Navy and contractors, all driven to ensure both the airworthiness and mission readiness of the RAN's MH-60R Seahawk Romeo Helicopter fleet and the safety of its aviators and aircraft maintenance staff.
