About the Role
Navy Aviation System Program Office (NASPO) is seeking a highly skilled Avionics-Systems Technical Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills and experience working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex technical assessments and provide technical knowledge and advice on complex work or difficult issues
- Contribute to strategic planning, program and project management
- Work with USN counterparts on technical information deliverables used in support of technical assessments and other required work outputs
Our Team:
The primary role of the Technical Engineering Services and Support Unit (TESSU) is the conduct of MH-60R Seahawk Romeo helicopter Military Type Certificate Holder (MTCH) functions and agreed MH-60R CAMO and MAO Technical Support Services.
You will join a diverse team made up of APS, ADF, US Navy and contractors, all driven to ensure both the airworthiness and mission readiness of the RAN's MH-60R Seahawk Romeo Helicopter fleet and the safety of its aviators and aircraft maintenance staff.

Requirements:
- Relevant technical trade background and experience working in a similar role
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently with reasonable autonomy and accountability for achievement of work outcomes
- Demonstrated commitment to personal development and ability to utilise MS products and Defence IT systems
