Job Title: Water Resources Specialist

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our water resources group, you will play a critical role in delivering impactful projects that shape the future.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stormwater and flood engineering, including drainage design, flood mitigation, and water-sensitive urban design. They will be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, deliver quality service, and provide training, guidance, and mentoring to other professional staff.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in TUFLOW 2D hydraulic modeling, GIS, hydrological modeling packages, and programming languages such as R, Python, and MATLAB. Experience with ICM InfoWorks, MUSIC water quality modeling, 12D design, Civil3D software would be advantageous.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Degree in civil engineering, hydrology, geography, mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in stormwater and flood engineering, including drainage design, flood mitigation, and water-sensitive urban design
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in TUFLOW 2D hydraulic modeling, GIS, hydrological modeling packages, programming languages such as R, Python, and MATLAB
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, provide training, guidance, and mentoring to other professional staff
