Defence Industry Careers at Kinexus

We are seeking defence industry professionals to support defence prime contractors, SMEs, and start-ups across various advanced major programs for Land, Air, and Sea.

The Defence Industry in Australia is experiencing growth and investment, offering a range of opportunities. We are looking for experienced professionals to contribute to ongoing and future defence projects in an organisation focused on growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.

Key areas of interest include:

  • Systems, Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Combat Systems, Communications, and Software Engineering.
  • ILS Professionals and RAMS (Analysts, Engineers, and Managers)
  • Project Managers, Engineers, Schedulers, and Controls

We have opportunities based in various locations, including Melbourne, VIC, Adelaide, SA, and Perth, WA.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in defence or other safety-critical engineering domains.
  • Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or Logistics.
  • Security clearance or eligibility for clearance (Australian citizenship required).
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Familiarity with defence standards, systems engineering practices, and/or ILS principles is highly desirable.
