About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Men's Behaviour Change Program (MBCP) Facilitator to join our team at Relationship Matters. As a key member of our Family Violence Programs team, you will provide therapeutic group-work and direct contact to men participating in our MBCP, working collaboratively with colleagues to engage and provide services to men using family violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver group-work in accordance with program guidelines for the MBCP
  • Provide direct contact and safety planning for service users participating in the program
  • Follow-up on matters pertaining to service users participating in the MBCP, including management of risk
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a relevant tertiary undergraduate degree (minimum Bachelor) or currently undertaking studies towards a relevant Bachelor degree in a relevant human services field. You will also need to demonstrate experience in education or preventative programs, family violence intervention and group work. Exceptional communication skills, a genuine team player attitude, and the ability to promote the profile of Relationship Matters in the community are essential.

You will require a current Working with Children's Check Victoria and be willing to undertake a National Police Check. A professional in your field, you will have a clear understanding of the feminist framework and how male privilege impacts on our current social structures. You must be able to work independently, while still contributing to a cohesive, committed and high performing team.
