Payroll Leader

As a key team member, you will lead a fantastic group and ensure timely delivery of all statutory payments across the organization.
The Role:- Reporting to the Senior Manager, Australia Shared Services Payroll Team
- Managing 2 direct reports who have their own teams
- Preparation of electronic funds transfer for payroll banking and sending payroll reports for management approval
- Processing Head Office payroll and accurate monthly incentive payments
- Running and reconciling payroll reports, reconciling payroll errors and ensuring prompt corrections
- Processing terminations of employment and preparing reports as required for Department Managers and Centres
- Management of team and assisting the Senior Manager when required with Projects
- Assisting with monthly payroll clearing reconciliations, month end payroll closure and payroll tax lodgment
- Resolving escalations from stakeholders and daily administration of payroll related transactions
- Experience in managing teams and collaborating to improve the payroll experience
- System savvy and high attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills for reporting purposes
This organization prioritizes its teams, encouraging growth and providing training. A typical day involves working from home 3 days a week and face-to-face on Thursdays, with hours from 9-5.
