Role Overview

The primary objective of this role is to manage the administrative tasks that impact both front office (dealers) and back office (scrip, accounts, client service) operations, as well as the internet order management system. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining a clear separation of duties, thereby minimizing the risk of booking errors or trade discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with ASX and ASIC Market Integrity Rules.
  • Handle ETO trade allocation and rebooking in DCA.
  • Regularly monitor and resolve discrepancies in online booking reconciliations.
  • Manage un-booked trades effectively.
  • Input Macquarie Wrap and other OMGEO institutional client trades into OMGEO CTM at the end of each trading day.
  • Communicate any trade errors or anomalies to dealers promptly.
  • Rebook and cancel contract notes as necessary, addressing issues such as incorrect brokerage charges.
  • Allocate and book suspense transactions for partners and institutional clients; create bookings in IOS and submit ETCs.
  • Facilitate the creation of IPO bookings as they are received.
  • Oversee the printing and folding of contract notes.
  • Process manual international trades as required.
  • Manage trade bookings within the BNP Neo-link system.
  • Monitor error accounts and update Hi-tec accordingly.
  • Adhere to CMC policies and procedures relevant to your role.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training.

Work Environment

This role requires onsite presence, necessitating attendance at our office five days a week.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in client services.
  • Prior background in Stockbroking administration.
  • Familiarity with GBST systems.
  • Knowledge of IRESS IOS (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Understanding of OMEGO CTM (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • RG146 accreditation (preferred but not mandatory).
