Event Travel Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Event Travel Coordinator to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As an Event Travel Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and managing all travel logistics for events, including flights, accommodations, and transportation for attendees and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel Coordination: Plan and manage all travel logistics for events, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Event Travel: Travel to various events as part of the role, ensuring all logistics are executed smoothly on-site.
  • Event Logistics Management: Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure travel aligns with event schedules and objectives.
  • Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with travel providers, hotels, and transportation companies to secure the best options and rates.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage travel budgets, ensuring all expenses are within allocated limits while maximizing value.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all travel-related inquiries from event participants, providing timely and effective support.
  • Problem Solving: Address any travel issues that arise promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to the event.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Gather feedback from attendees regarding travel arrangements to improve future travel experiences.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in travel management, event planning, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of travel booking systems and software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
