Site Engineer Role Overview
Gough Recruitment AU is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects that meet safety, client satisfaction, quality, timeliness, and margin criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records.
- Collaborate with supervisors to ensure safety compliance and create a safe working environment.
- Verify that consultant and subcontractor output adheres to the design brief.
- Manage and control the flow of technical information between design disciplines and stakeholders.
- Assist in ensuring the design is completed to standard and on time.
- Review the quality of subcontractor works on-site and communicate findings to the project team.
- Review subcontractor quality documentation and checklists to ensure compliance.
- Identify project issues and develop solutions.
- Complete Quality Assurance tasks, including ITPs and SWMS.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Building/Construction Management or Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in the building and construction industry in roles precedent to Site Engineer.
- Quality-focused and able to assess risk.
- Jobpac experience is required.
