The Manager Retail Models represents the business throughout the model life cycle of capital and decision models used across retail consumer portfolios.

This role requires strong analytical skills, a sound understanding of credit risk and modelling principles, and an ability to collaborate with various business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting model development projects from data sourcing, development, approval, and implementation
  • Representing the business in all model risk management activities
  • Providing expertise to risk, pricing, and other stakeholders regarding impacts on capital and profitability of business strategy changes

What We're Looking For

  • 5 years of experience in retail credit models (development/validation/implementation)
  • A quantitative degree in statistics, actuarial, econometrics, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related field
  • High standards of accuracy and ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • A sound understanding of credit scoring, capital models, and credit risk
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python, R, BigQuery)
