Therapist Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team in making a positive impact in the community.

This role involves managing a caseload of clients across various age groups and socio-cultural backgrounds, completing therapeutic processes in a timely manner. The successful candidate will undertake comprehensive clinical interviews and assessments, interpreting findings to determine and achieve goals aligned with client objectives.

The therapist will deliver person-centred, tailored interventions with a systemic focus, providing therapeutic support and training to relevant stakeholders. Additionally, they will monitor signs and symptoms of risk and acute distress during therapeutic interventions, reporting and addressing these as needed.

Maintaining awareness of current legislation ensures compliance with statutory guidelines. Written reports on progress reviews and ongoing areas of need for clients will also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of clients
  • Undertake comprehensive clinical interviews and assessments
  • Deliver person-centred, tailored interventions
  • Monitor signs and symptoms of risk and acute distress
  • Provide written reports for clients

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current general registration with AHPRA
  • Experience working with clients
  • Excellent time management, communication, and writing skills
  • Relevant insurance including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance
  • Police clearance, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Active ABN
